600 hours program including in classroom and hands-on practical skills

This course prepares students in the art of skin care: giving facial treatments, makeup application and hair removal. Dialexton School of Allied Health Professions offers students the opportunity to develop their skills and prepare themselves to be a licensed esthetician in the state of New York. Our expert licensed instructors provide an in-depth study into the subjects of anatomy, biology and chemistry as a foundation for learning basic and advanced treatment methods.

  • Our program includes 24 hours of Esthetics review sessions to prepare you for the State licensure exam and assistance to explore available entry-level employment opportunity at no additional cost.
  • This program is approved by New York State Department of Education / BPSS.
  • Upon graduation from Esthetics Program and in order to be successful, you should provide best-used treatment techniques and services requested by clients, including: facial massage, the use of facial machines and other related equipment as well as provide hair removal, and makeup. Moreover, after you receive Esthetics Certificate from Dialexton School of Allied Health Professions, it enables you to apply for and obtain ESTHETICS  PERMIT issued by New York Department of State / Esthetics Licensing Services; Then, be prepared to obtain Esthetics License and explore additional available option such as: management of the skin care business operations, successful retailing of products and/or services and to be advanced to the world of professional skin care,

This program runs 7.5 hours – 5 times a week for a total of 37.5 hours of instructions per week; (additional 30 mins for a lunch break every day) for the total of 2 quarters: 8 weeks + 8 weeks for a total of 16 weeks;

Part-Time

Days or Evenings

(24 weeks)

This program runs part-time: 5 hours per day – 5 times a week for a total of 25 hours of instructions per week; (additional 30 mins for a lunch break every day) for the total of 2 quarters: 12wks + 12wks for a total of 24 weeks

Part-Time Weekends or Weekdays

(38 weeks)

This program runs part-time: 8.5 hours – 2 times a week for a total of 16 hours of instructions per week;  ( additional 30 min for a lunch break every day) for a total of 4 quarters 38 weeks:10wks + 10wks + 9wks + 9wks)for a total of 38 weeks;
